Both silver clay and silver sheets are used to make jewellery depending on the type of jewellery to be made. Sometimes silver clay (pure silver -92.5%) is mixed with 7.5% copper also known as sterling silver to make jewellery. This type of jewellery is the most used. It is more durable as pure silver is very soft and can be easily be moulded therefore it is mixed with copper to make it more durable.
