DPCC classifies industries into different categories according their potential to pollute. The white category or non-polluting industries are exempt from obtaining Pollution NOC. The green category industries with minimal pollution potential, Orange category with moderate pollution potential and red category are the high-polluting industries. Knowing the industry classification, determines the type of Pollution NOC the factory may require.
