Deadpool & Wolverine Breaks Box Office Records with $590 Million Worldwide

Deadpool & Wolverine, the highly anticipated Marvel film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has shattered box office records in its opening week. The movie, which hit theaters on July 26, 2024, has already grossed an impressive $590 million globally, making it the biggest R-rated movie opening of all time.

In the US alone, the film earned $211 million in its debut weekend, the sixth-highest opening ever and the biggest since 2021s Spider-Man: No Way Home. This massive opening has put Deadpool & Wolverine on track to surpass The Passion of the Christs $370.7 million record as the highest-grossing R-rated movie at the US box office by the end of its second weekend.
