Clustering is the process of finding similar groups in data, called a cluster. It groups data instances that are similar to each other in one cluster and data instances that are very different(far away) from each other into different clusters. A cluster is, therefore, a collection of objects which are “similar” between them and are “dissimilar” to the objects belonging to other clusters.
The method of identifying similar groups of data in a dataset is called clustering. It is one of the most popular techniques in data science.
