Industries that avail DPCC orange category certificate are those that fall under the category having a pollution index of 41-59. These industries are more polluting than the green category industries their consent to operate is for five years only. After this period they have to renew the certificate consent.
Some of the industries that come under the orange category industries are acids, chemicals, batteries, electric motors, generators, paints, varnishes, plastic dye, utensils, and more.
Similarly, all those industries that deposit harmful and dangerous materials come under the DPCC red category. Industries under this category are not permitted to function in Delhi Jurisdiction.
