A Seattle landlord claims that rent skippers are more prevalent than ever.

Ten percent or more of the landlord’s numerous tenants, according to estimation, are behind on their rent.
Landlord Carl Haglund in Seattle believes that the constraints put in place during the pandemic are to responsible for an increase in rent skippers. Haglund asserts that the issue stems from the city’s recently passed ordinance, which makes it more expensive and challenging for us to successfully evict the inhabitants during this COVID embargo.
